"Ectoplasm is an item which is required for the special order "A Curious Substance". Ghosts spawn starting level 50 up to the 70 levels, so I used the elevator to get to lvl 55 (no need for ladder) I'd look into the level and if there wasn't a ghost coming for me, I'd go back to the elevator, back up to 0 and then back down to 55. r/StardewValley.
